Karuna Riazi is a YA and MG author, educator and diversity advocate. Karuna is the author of The Gauntlet, one of the Spring 2017 lead titles for Simon and Schuster/Salaam Reads, and its companion, The Battle (August 2019). Her contributions may also be found in anthologies such as Here We Are: Feminism for the Real World (Algonquin, 2017), How I Resist: Activism and Hope for the Next Generation (Wednesday Books, 2018) and Unbroken (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2018). She is represented by Thao Le of Sandra Dijkstra and Associates.
