By day you’ll find Julie Russell leading the IT Team at Medium, wrangling technical challenges, gluing together all the nouns (people, places, and things), and motivating her valiant staff. By evenings and weekends you will find this modern day heroine switching from her left to right brain as she rewrites her current novel-in-progress, that began its modest life as a NaNoWriMo November 2014 Win. Julie has been on the Board of NaNo since 2015, and has won the 50K Word November challenge seven times. She is a member of the Alabama Street Writers Group.
