Cari Borja approached all her work as an anthropologist ~ looking at various aspects of cultural production and interaction through the lens of understanding what makes humans human. Whether through making collections of clothes, gathering people for salon dinners, producing + creative directing films, festivals or galas, or consulting on different projects at Apple, she likes to connect people, places and things and fashion them into new possibilities. She lives in Orinda with her husband Lloyd, two teenagers Royal and August, and her pugston Ponyo.
