Come Write In Stats

Come Write In, NaNoWriMo’s community partnership program, connects community spaces like libraries, bookstores, and community centers with local NaNoWriMo participants. We offer resources, support, and events to help community spaces engage with a creative culture of passionate writers. We help provide opportunities to connect with local volunteers and writers in regions around the world who are looking for opportunities to collaborate.

Whether in-person, virtually, or a combination of the two, Come Write In is a great way to bring people together and support a culture of creative fellowship!

Municipal Liaison Stats

Our team of volunteer Municipal Liaisons do amazing things! They organize and run local writing events, support and encourage writers in their areas, and build creative communities all over the globe.

If you love encouraging writers, building community connections, and just being an all-around creativity cheerleader, this might just be the role for you!

Camp NaNoWriMo Stats

Camp NaNoWriMo is your next, great writing adventure. Every April and July, set your own creative goal, work on any writing project, novel or not. Camp NaNoWriMo offers the flexibility to find a writing process that works for you, and to work on all kinds of writing projects, including editing, musicals, memoirs, and more.

Find your community with Camp NaNoWriMo by joining a writing group of 3-20 people to share your progress, encouragement, and resources as you write. Start a writing group of your own, or find a writing group to join in the forums. (You can join as many groups as you’d like!)

Young Writers Program Stats

NaNoWriMo’s Young Writers Program (YWP) takes that joyful, focused approach to creative writing and makes it accessible to young writers, educators, and families. Participants aged 18-and-under can sign up for accounts at ywp.nanowrimo.org. Educators can create online classrooms to lead creative writing programs and stay connected with their students.

The Young Writers Program allows participants to set individualized goals and use the progress-tracking tools on our site to stay on track. If no official event is happening, you can create a personal challenge with your own deadline for a new or existing project.

Young writers can write directly in their YWP writing space (or in a separate document), find inspiration in our noveling resources, and tap a worldwide community of fellow writers for support in our forums.
