Katharine Gripp has been participating in NaNoWriMo off and on since high school, and finally won for the first time (without cheating) in 2018. Her short stories have been published in several speculative fiction collections, including SciPhi Journal, Tales From OmniPark, and The Quiet Ones. Katharine has an MFA in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults, and has worked in non-profits and creative/performing arts for over a decade. When not writing, she can be found playing music around the San Francisco Bay Area with her band, The Forgetmenauts.
